Privacy Policy
MANTH — Structured Personal Development for Men · Last updated: November 2, 2026
The Short Version
We respect your privacy. Here’s the simple truth:
- —We don’t sell your data to anyone
- —We collect the bare minimum needed to process your payment and give you access
- —We use Google Analytics on our marketing pages to see how people find and use the site. We do not use it for retargeting or to build advertising profiles, and it is not used inside your coaching conversations.
- —Your coaching conversations are processed by Anthropic’s API. Under Anthropic’s commercial terms, they are not used to train AI models and are retained only for a limited period before deletion, subject to limited exceptions for legal and safety purposes.
- —Your current conversation with Carter is saved so you can pick up where you left off. Earlier conversations, and your history after your access ends, are deleted automatically on the schedule in Section 6.
By accessing or using MANTH, you consent to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.
Now here’s the full legal version:
1. Who We Are
MANTH is a structured personal development platform for men operated by Obsidian Jax Capital LLC, a Delaware limited liability company based in the United States (“we,” “us,” “our”). In this Privacy Policy, “MANTH” and the “Service” mean MANTH, our structured personal development platform for men, including our website, Carter—MANTH’s AI personal development coach—and the account features and other functionality we make available through MANTH. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Service.
As used in this Privacy Policy, “Commercially Reasonable Efforts” means reasonable efforts consistent with the practices of a similarly situated business, taking into account cost, technical feasibility, available resources, third-party dependencies, security, legal requirements, and the likelihood of achieving the intended result. Commercially Reasonable Efforts does not require us to incur material unanticipated expense, materially disrupt our operations, or take action that would be commercially unreasonable under the circumstances. Commercially Reasonable Efforts does not limit any right, result, or deadline that applicable law requires, and it does not qualify the statements in this Privacy Policy about what data we collect, use, share, sell, or retain.

2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- —Account information: Email address and password when you create an account
- —Payment information: When you purchase access, your payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. We do not store your credit card number, CVV, or full card details on our servers. Stripe handles all payment data under their own privacy policy (stripe.com/privacy).
- —Conversation history: Messages you send to and receive from Carter, MANTH’s AI personal development coach, are saved to your account in order to provide conversation history persistence across sessions, and are deleted automatically on the schedule described in Section 6.
- —Information you share in coaching conversations: Conversations with Carter, MANTH’s AI personal development coach, may involve sensitive personal information, including details about your physical health, fitness goals, body composition, mental health, relationships, sexual behavior, family dynamics, professional life, and other personal matters. This information is shared at your discretion as part of the coaching relationship. It is processed and stored under the same terms as all other conversation content (see Section 3). MANTH is built to receive this kind of disclosure; you should provide only the information you are comfortable sharing.
- —Lead-magnet sign-ups: Our free skincare guide can be read online without providing an email address, and we are not currently offering to email it. If you submitted your email through our earlier lead capture form, your email address is stored in our database (Supabase), which we used to send you the requested resource. We did not store any other information from that form — no name, no source page, no marketing opt-in field. The email that delivers the resource may also include information about MANTH, such as a link or call to action. Submitting your email for a resource does not enroll you in an ongoing promotional email list. Your email is retained until you unsubscribe (using the link included in the email we send you) or request deletion.
- —Sequence Check: The Sequence Check on our website runs in your browser. Your individual answers are not sent to us, stored in our database, emailed to you, or sent to Google Analytics or any advertising platform, and are not stored in cookies or browser storage; they are discarded when you leave or refresh the page. Where Google Analytics loads on our marketing pages, it records that you started and finished the Sequence Check and a broad result category (the area it suggests starting with), never your individual answers. You see your result without providing an account or an email address.
- —Support assistant: Messages you type into the in-app support assistant are transmitted to Anthropic’s API to generate a reply. We do not save the content of those messages to your account.
- —Communications: If you email us for support, we retain those messages to respond to you. Support emails are retained for up to 2 years and then deleted.
Information collected automatically:
- —Server logs: Standard server logs automatically collected by our hosting provider (Vercel), including page views, IP address, device type, browser type, and date and time of access.
- —Usage records: When Carter or the support assistant sends a reply, we record the number of tokens processed, the AI model used, the time, and a salted one-way hash of your IP address (not the IP address itself). For Carter, the record is tied to your account. We use these records to apply usage limits and to detect abuse and account sharing. They do not contain the content of your messages. We retain them for up to 2 years.
- —Website analytics: On our public marketing pages, we use Google Analytics to understand how visitors find and use the site. This may include your IP address, device and browser type, approximate location derived from IP address, the pages you view, how you arrived at the site (including referring site and any campaign tags in a link we have shared), interactions with forms on the page, clicks on our calls to action, and whether you took certain actions such as beginning checkout or completing a purchase. Where we measure form interactions, we record that a form was used and which form it was — we do not capture the contents of any field you type. Checkout and purchase events are sent from our servers to Google Analytics using the analytics identifier from your browser; they include the order value and a Stripe transaction ID, but not your name, email address, or account ID. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar identifiers for these purposes.
- —We do not use analytics inside the coaching chat, the support assistant, or the account and app pages. No message you send to Carter, and no response Carter generates, is transmitted to Google or any analytics provider. Analytics operates only on our public marketing pages, which anyone can visit, including a person who is logged in.
- —We have not enabled Google’s advertising features, including Google Signals, remarketing or audience building, or ad personalization. We do not use analytics to build advertising profiles or to retarget you across other websites.
- —Cookies and similar technologies: We use essential session cookies required to keep you logged in. On our public marketing pages, we also use analytics cookies and identifiers set by Google Analytics, as described above. We do not use advertising cookies to retarget you on other websites or to build advertising profiles. You can control cookies through your browser settings; blocking analytics cookies will not affect your ability to use the Service. If you arrive from a Google ad click, we also store the click identifier Google adds to the link in a first-party cookie on our marketing pages for up to 90 days, and pass it to our payment processor with your checkout so a purchase can be attributed to the visit. We do not set this cookie for visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland. We do not currently send it to Google or any advertising platform.
Information we do NOT collect:
- —We do not actively collect biometric data, health records, or other sensitive personal information outside of what you choose to share in coaching conversations (see “Information you share in coaching conversations” above)
- —We do not store full credit card details, CVV codes, or payment credentials
3. How Your Conversations Are Processed and Stored
Carter is an artificial intelligence system, not a human coach. All responses are generated by an AI model. This disclosure is made in compliance with California Business and Professions Code §17940 et seq. (the Bolstering Online Transparency Act) and similar disclosure requirements.
When you send a message to Carter, MANTH’s AI personal development coach, here is what happens:
- —Your message is transmitted to Anthropic’s API for processing and a response is generated in real time
- —If you attach an image, it is sent to Anthropic’s API with your message so Carter can respond to it. We do not save the image to your account; only the text of the conversation is stored (see “Images you attach” below)
- —Anthropic processes your message and the AI's response to generate a reply in real time and, under its commercial terms, does not use this data to train AI models. Anthropic retains API data only for a limited period before deletion. Specific retention periods may vary and may change over time — for example, certain data may be retained longer where necessary to comply with law or to detect and prevent misuse, and retention requirements may differ by model. For Anthropic's current data-handling terms and retention periods, see privacy.claude.com.
- —The content of your current conversation (your messages and Carter’s responses) is saved to your account in our Supabase database so you can pick up where you left off
- —Your current conversation is associated with your account so Carter can continue coaching you
- —You can start a fresh conversation at any time using the “New” button. When you do, your previous conversation is permanently deleted within about two days, and Carter will not remember it
- —Conversation history is deleted automatically on the schedule described in Section 6, and you may request deletion at any time by emailing info@mymanth.com
Carter is designed for coaching, not crisis intervention or clinical treatment. When conversations involve topics outside Carter’s coaching scope — including mental health crises, medical conditions requiring professional treatment, or other situations requiring licensed care — Carter is built to refer users to appropriate professional resources. These conversations are processed and stored under the same terms as all other conversations. Users experiencing a crisis are encouraged to seek qualified professional help. In the United States, the 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is available 24/7.
For more details on Anthropic’s data practices, see: privacy.claude.com
Images you attach:
You can attach a photo or screenshot to a message. An image can reveal sensitive information, including your face and physical appearance, your body, skin or other health-related details, your location or surroundings, other people, and any personal information visible in it. A photo file can also carry embedded metadata, such as when, where, or on what device it was taken. Before an image is sent, your browser re-encodes it, which removes that embedded metadata; the visible content of the image is still sent. Only attach images you are comfortable sharing.
- —The image is transmitted to Anthropic’s API for that request so Carter can look at it and respond. Anthropic’s handling of it is governed by the terms described above.
- —MANTH does not save the image file to your account, our database, or other storage that we control. It passes through our servers only to be forwarded to Anthropic.
- —We do not send images, or information taken from them, to Google Analytics or any advertising platform.
- —The text you type with the image, and Carter’s response, are saved as ordinary conversation history. Carter’s response may describe or refer to what Carter saw in the image, and that description is retained in your history. If you send an image without text, a short default message is saved in its place.
4. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- —Process your payment and grant you access to the Service
- —Send you transactional emails (purchase confirmation, password reset)
- —Send you a resource you have requested by email
- —Save and restore your conversation history across sessions
- —Respond to support requests
- —Ensure compliance with legal obligations
- —Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the website and the Service using server logs and website analytics, including understanding which pages are useful and where visitors encounter difficulty
We do NOT use your information to:
- —Sell to third parties
- —Build advertising profiles
- —Train AI models
Email. We send resources you request by email, and transactional or service messages, such as a purchase welcome email and account or password messages. A requested-resource email may also contain information about MANTH, such as a link or call to action. We do not currently send an ongoing promotional or nurture email series, and submitting your email to receive a resource does not enroll you in one. If we decide to send ongoing promotional email in the future, we will first update this Privacy Policy and provide an appropriate way for you to opt in.

- —Usage records: The technical usage records described in Section 2 (token counts, model, time, and hashed IP address) are retained for up to 2 years.
- —Lead-magnet sign-ups: Email addresses collected through our earlier lead capture form are retained until you unsubscribe (using the link in the email you received) or request deletion by emailing info@mymanth.com.
- —Support emails: Retained for up to 2 years, then deleted.
- —Website analytics: Data collected by Google Analytics is retained for 14 months, after which it is deleted or aggregated. This data relates to website activity and is not linked to your account or to your coaching conversations.

- —Fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy
- —Comply with legal obligations
- —Maintain business records in accordance with industry standards
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- —Access the personal information we hold about you
- —Correct inaccurate information
- —Delete your account and associated data, including conversation history, except for records we are required or permitted to retain as described in Section 6
- —Export your data in a portable format
- —Opt out of any marketing communications
To exercise any of these rights, email us at info@mymanth.com. We will use Commercially Reasonable Efforts to respond within 30 days, or within any shorter or different period required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we will use Commercially Reasonable Efforts to complete verified deletion requests from the systems we control, subject to any legal retention obligations. Nothing in this section limits any right, result, or deadline that applicable law requires.
For California Residents (CCPA)
We do not sell personal information. We do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to know what information we collect, request deletion, and not be discriminated against for exercising your rights. We use website analytics on our marketing pages to understand how visitors find and use our site. We have not enabled retargeting, audience building, or ad personalization features, and we do not disclose personal information to third parties for their own advertising purposes.
Visitors Outside the United States
MANTH is currently offered for purchase only to customers in the United States. Our website may nevertheless be accessible from other countries; that accessibility does not mean we are offering the Service in those countries.
Depending on where you are located and which privacy laws apply to our processing of your personal information, you may have additional privacy rights. These may include rights to access, correct (rectify), delete (erase), restrict or object to certain processing, receive a portable copy of certain data, or lodge a complaint with a relevant data-protection or supervisory authority.
If the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, or another privacy law applies to our processing of your personal information, we will honor the rights that law requires. Where a law requires us to have a legal basis for processing, we rely on performance of a contract (providing the Service you purchased) and our legitimate interests (maintaining, securing, and improving the website and the Service using server logs and website analytics). We do not load Google Analytics on our marketing pages, or set the Google ad-click cookie described in Section 2, for visitors whose location, as determined from their IP address, is in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, or cannot be determined.
To exercise a privacy right, contact us at info@mymanth.com.
8. Data Security
We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including:
- —All data transmitted between your browser and our servers is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
- —Payment data is handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor
- —Conversation history and account data is stored in Supabase, and access to it is controlled through application and database access controls designed to limit each user to their own data
- —We use Commercially Reasonable Efforts to protect access to administrative accounts
No system is 100% secure. While we take reasonable precautions, we cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.
9. Children’s Privacy
MANTH is intended for adults aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. At checkout, users must confirm they are 18 or older before completing purchase.
For purposes of this section, “knowingly” and “if we learn” refer to actual knowledge acquired by MANTH’s human personnel. Carter, MANTH’s AI personal development coach, processes messages automatically and in real time; its automated processing does not constitute human awareness, and a user’s disclosure to Carter is not, by itself, information knowingly collected by or known to us. If a user indicates to Carter that they are under 18, Carter will decline to provide coaching and will direct the user away from the Service.
If our human personnel learn that we have collected information from a person under 18, we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy on our website with a new “Last updated” date. Where required by law, we will also provide any additional notice that law requires, and where we otherwise determine notice is appropriate, we will use Commercially Reasonable Efforts to provide notice (for example, by email to the address on your account). Your continued use of MANTH after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
